” I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” – L.M. Montgomery Anne of Green Gables The quote above is my absolute favorite for fall. October is by far one of the prettiest months of the year. When October rolls around it also mean it’s time for sweatshirt season and this year I decided to make a couple of crew necks for some family and friends. Using Cricut Design Space, Cricut Maker,…

Cricut Disney Shirts

Holy moly you guys!!! It’s almost time to take Sawyer and Sienna to Disneyland for the first time and I couldn’t be more excited!! I, myself, haven’t been to Disneyland in over 15 years (I think) and I can’t wait to go back and experience the magic of Disney again.

Because I am “that ” mom, I made matching shirts for the kids to wear on the trip using my Cricut Maker and Heat Transfer Vinyl. I also made myself a phone case and a shirt to wear.

Oregon drug take back

I was cleaning out our bathrooms the other day and to my surprise, we had multiple medications that were expired or we no longer used or needed. When I heard that Oregon was going to be participating in the LifeInCheck™ Consumer Drug Take Back Program. I had to find the nearest location to me and to my surprise it was only about 30 miles away from where I live. Well worth the drive to me knowing that I could properly dispose of the medication and I wouldn't have to worry about my children getting into any of it.

Since my children are both under 3 years old, I can get away with having my medications up high where they can't reach them but once they get older I will be purchasing a lock box to keep all current medication in and will be making sure that any medication that is expired or no longer being used is disposed of at a LifeInCheck Kiosk.

LifeInCheck can also provide envelopes for you.  LifeInCheck Drug Disposal Kiosks can accept all medications except for liquids, pet medications, loctions, and needles. You don't have to live in a big city to use this service!  You can find your nearest LifeInCheck Drop Box Kiosk location here.

Remember that every 7 minutes someone in America dies from an overdose. Don’t let that be someone you love. Dispose of unwanted and unused medications. You can find your nearest LifeInCheck Drop Box Kiosklocation here.

I have had acrylic nails for 10 years now off and on. Sometimes, when I go to the salon I dont know what design I want and end up figuring it out after the appointment or the salon doesn’t have the design available. That’s when I decided to put my Cricut skills to the test and use my Cricut Maker to make my own Nail Decals. For this project you’re going to need: A Cricut Machine –…
