On our walk back from dinner we got to watch the sunset, it was quite nostalgic for me, as the spot we were at is where Jason and I first watched the sunset 5.5 years ago. In that moment, I knew I had made the right choice in not bringing my laptop. I was thriving. My clients and business were surviving without me, and I was genuinely happy I got to enjoy such a special vacation with my family. I encourage everyone to take the time to unplug and enjoy life with those you love.
Seeing everyone’s Disney posts for the holiday season has made me reminiscent of our trip to Disney in October. I thought packing for the hospital and preparing for the arrival of baby 2 would be a breeze. Then reality hit! I couldn’t remember what I had taken to the hospital when I had Sawyer, what I used and didn’t use, so I started looking for different lists and eventually came up with my own.
we have the wifi baby monitor on the wall in Sawyer’s room over his bed but we tend to use the non-wifi monitor more because we can take it around the house without having to carry our phone or tablet with us
Recipe for Baby # 2 ⠀
2 cups hugs ⠀
2 cups kisses⠀
4 cups love ⠀
Bake until October
The stylist was so easy to work with we told them what we liked and disliked. What his wardrobe was lacking and what we had enough of. Once we got the package, I was blown away at how spot-on they were with the selection they sent us.
There isn’t a day that goes by that Sawyer isn’t testing the boundaries and making all of our hearts skip a beat with his fearless nature. He is always on the move running, tripping, falling, and climbing. Thankfully we haven’t had any serious injuries or trips to the ER.
