The process of redecorating and renovating parts of your house can be tedious. Not only do you have to figure out what projects you want to do but how to accomplish and put the plans into motion for those projects. Then you have to figure out the decorating, what’s going to look best on that wall or that shelf, and don’t forget about the rugs that you might have to take into consideration.
When we decided to put a chalkboard on the wall in Sawyer’s playroom, I immediately knew that I wanted Canvas Prints above it on the shelf. At the time I only wanted 2: one of Sawyer and one of the 3 of us. I looked around at different places online that offer canvas printing but made my decision to go with Canvas Champ.
Canvas Champs has a user-friendly website and even better prices. I was shocked that I could get a 16×20 canvas for only $16. If I wouldn’t have had friends that used this website before, I would have been skeptical but knowing that they ordered their canvas and loved the quality made me want to try out Canvas Champ even more!
I selected the 16×20 size for a canvas right off of the home page on the website. Once I decided the size, the website took me to the design space where I selected the photo I wanted to upload. The photo uploaded and showed up on the canvas as a preview for what the print would look like. When I saw the preview, I was able to adjust the photo by moving it up or down to make sure our heads and other important pieces of the photo weren’t cut off. I then chose my wrap. For me, I went ahead and chose the image wrap because I liked that it continued the image on the edges that were not on the main part of the canvas. However, they do offer a mirror style or a border color. You can also choose the thickness. I left mine alone with the preselected thin option.
Hardware is the next step. There were multiple options, but I went with the pre-installed hanging hooks that are free. Since I was going to be displaying these canvases on a shelf, I didn’t need the hanging hooks but decided to have them available for the future.
After choosing the hardware, you add to cart, fill in your shipping and billing info, and you are all set!
The canvases do take about a month or so to get to you because they come from out of the United States but they are worth the wait! As soon as Sienna is born, we will be updating and adding more canvas prints to our home.
