On our walk back from dinner we got to watch the sunset, it was quite nostalgic for me, as the spot we were at is where Jason and I first watched the sunset 5.5 years ago. In that moment, I knew I had made the right choice in not bringing my laptop. I was thriving. There isn’t a day that goes by that Sawyer isn’t testing the boundaries and making all of our hearts skip a beat with his fearless nature. He is always on the move running, tripping, falling, and climbing. Thankfully we haven’t had any serious injuries or trips to the ER.
The way your eyes light up, the big smile on your face and hearing you yell “ mom”, “mama”, “mom” when I walk in the door makes all the bad days worth it. It’s the best reminder that everything mommy and daddy do is for you, to ensure you have the best life.
